Okay, so a wolf crazy friend pointed me towards a wolf RPG forum. Which isn't generally my thing, but at the moment I didn't have a choice, she was going to eat me. So I looked. The site itself is your stereotypical wolf RPG, but something that I haven't seen before was on there....

See what they're RPing in? They call them "tables", which you can get custom made at a graphics section of the forum. This struck me as quite ingenious.

I know how to get these "tables" to work on SilverQuill, and it would be a nice addition to our graphics shops. I've been thinking about it for quite a while now, but I'm not sure. On one hand, you could say it would be a great way to boost the i.point economy. And on the other hand, you could say that it would be highly distracting and inefficient.

What do you think? I've got no clue.

If your talking about the things that are in the posts that they seem to write on i think its really cool. :)

I dont think it would be distracting at all, it would actually help me keep track of who was saying what. (And it would add some color to this dreary site :P)

Hehe, I suppose it's my own fault for picking the name "SilverQuill". I mean, you can't really make something metallic on a computer screen. XD

You should make a picture of a silverquill writing in lie bright colors. Like the writing paints a picture :) Then you could just bam colors everyhwere :)

Heh, I would, but I love our skin right now. I've never had one that suits the site so well, with the colors and logo.

Would we have a different one per thread we could use or is it for every page?

WHEEE~!! I love it. I was on a RP site that used something like that before. I knew all they had to do was enable HTML in the forums and use the DOHTML tag. I love it. It's so refreshing to see things like that because it adds color and stuff. <3

You use it like a bb code, so you can put it in whenever you want, put it in individual posts, etc.

So how many different tables are there? I mean is there like a website that makes the tables that we would browse and point at? :)

No, you would buy them right on SilverQuill. We have a number of graphics makers who know photoshop backwards and front, and I've already made quite a few tables by request of the RPG site I linked you all to. It's not complicated to make.

Would i have to pay someone to make them and then buy them from the site? Or is that just one bill. If you make them by yourself are they free? Could you trade services perhaps?

If you make them by yourself, they are free. I can also see people making free ones to give as gifts.

(pssst it was my birthday a few months ago...hint hint :P)

Sounds good to me, no clue how to make them, but i can provide all sorts of editing/critiquing/imsuchanicepersoneveryoneshouldwanttomakemeone talents. :)
