Brandon, the coder for our host, has posted an update about the hacker attack on Invisionfree boards such as SilverQuill Forums.


As you may be aware, InvisionFree boards using custom domains experienced a temporary outage today. This was a result of a security breach with our ISP. At this time access has been restored and all boards should be accessible via their custom domains. If you have any questions please open a support ticket from your Administrator Control Panel.

Thank you for your patience and we apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

This means that, contrary to previous speculation, I will not have to revert to our long painful full-of-numbers URL address as previously stated. It also means that our data is completely safe, and SilverQuill and all other Invisionfree boards are now safe to visit. It's all good. Sorry for the scare and inconvenience, everyone. I hope to see you all on SilverQuill.


A sidenote: We will not be having an Easter egg hunt this Sunday due to this situation and me blowing my brains out. However, I will try to get the Pet Shops (supposed to open today) up as soon as possible.

I'm glad everything's okay, though. I haven't backed up any of my Challenge poems.

Pfft. Brandon should really talk to Mathy, my Denmark computer genius friend. He made me this protectiong software for my old computer, it was amazing. Something like a Norton/Spyware/Adware/Webroot/Spydoctor/His own coding program. It worked wonders...

Er. Promy, that's great and all, but Brandon's a good coder. The hackers couldn't get past the stuff that mattered, just the index page.

Cant beat Mathy though, he is Danish. I bet brandon isnt Danish. You ask him if he is Danish. I bet he isnt!
