Okay guys! Starting today, you will earn points from critiquing writing. Here's the grading scale:
Examples of points earned per critique:
0: I LOVE IT!
1: It's really good, but you need to work on the diolouge.
2: Instead of making _________ say this, you need to show rather than tell.
3. Reword the diolouge of ____________ to _____________ to show rather than tell. You seem to do this a lot.
4: Reword the diolouge of ____________ to _____________ to show rather than tell. You seem to do this a lot. Examples of places are_____________
5. A really exellent critique, including positive and negative remarks, and is usually long.
Maximum points earned per critique are usually 5- I will post an example later.
Graphics shop owners earn 50% of what they sell. EXAMPLE: If Wordsmith sells a 4 point avatar, she earns 2 points. You DO spend points on graphics if you buy them. There are now also 'second cycle' shops, in which you can sell han-me-downs, or graphics you have bought in the past.
Shop owners have not earned their points and buyers have not spent theirs until a mod posts: 'Transferred'. NO BOUNCY CHECKS.

I think there should be critiques for things other than dialogue. What if it is poetry, and there is no dialogue? Maybe something about description or variety?

Nonono, those are just examples of critiques. ^_^ Don't worry- critique can be anything, just as long as it is really about the piece.
